Rosanna, I’m reading an interesting book I found on the “New” shelf at the library called ‘Goddesses Never Age,’ by Dr. Christiana Northrup. I loved Dr. Northrup’s ‘Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom’ when I was a much younger woman, and this book is all about embracing life as we age. I suspect you are not old enough to fall into that category, but the common sense wisdom mixed with frank spirituality reminds me so much of your log!
Thanks Pam…common sense wisdom, frank spirituality… I never thought myself capable of those two things. I have heard of Dr. Northrup from Oprah Winfrey’s shows – she was featured several times. I never got around to reading her book though – the thickness of it scared me. Funny, though, i have always felt that I was born old, a crone even as a toddler, so it really doesn’t feel any different now.
I’m just slower, and I love that. Thank you for this very heartwarming message.
On the literal level that is very funny. Metaphorically, it is rather wise. 🙂
